An in-depth assessment of the existing condition of the buildings in administrative units No. 5 and unit No. 8 as a result of the earthquake of November 26, 2019 was carried out for the following facilities:<\/p>\n

  2. Building no. 30, Sami Frasheri Street, administrative unit no. 5, total area 4000 m2<\/sup><\/li>\n
  3. Building no. 10, Besim Daja Street, administrative unit no. 8, total area 1020 m2<\/sup><\/li>\n
  4. Building no. 5, Ferit Xhajko Street, administrative unit no. 8, total area 4900 m2<\/sup><\/li>\n
  5. Building no. 39\/43, Ferit Xhajko Street, administrative unit no. 8, total area 2700 m2<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The assessment of the condition of the objects is made based on:<\/p>\n

    2. Extensive investigation of the damage caused by the earthquake and the existing condition of the building, focusing also on possible changes and other deteriorations in the structural elements caused by time<\/li>\n
    3. Engineering, destructive and non-destructive tests on site and in the laboratory.<\/li>\n
    4. Building engineering computer models, representing as realistically as possible the geometry, loads, material properties, the influence of non-structural elements and the load-bearing capacity of the building's structural elements.<\/li>\n
    5. Performing linear and nonlinear analyses to assess the bearing capacity of the structure and verify the primary seismic elements<\/li>\n
    6. Determining the performance\/behavior of the structure against earthquakes and seismic code requirements<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
