The total length of the road is 52 km. The road will be designed according to the modified C2 category referred to the 2015 standard. The road section is 12 meters including unpaved shoulders of 0.75m in both directions. The existing project track will be maintained in its entirety, but we will also have the construction of two By-passes, one in the city of Librazhd, the other in Prrenjas. The By-passes or deviations from the axis of the existing road are foreseen mainly in the area of Xibrake, Mirake, Murrash, Librazhd, Dragostunje-Shpathare, Hotolisht, Vulcan, Vehcan, Qukes, Pishkash-Verri and Perrenjas.
To improve the geometry of the existing road, the possibility of constructing tunnels in the villages of Murrash and Hotolisht is being considered.
The Labinot-Fushe area will be treated as an urban area and will include the rehabilitation of sidewalks, lighting. The entire project will pay special attention to road safety, which will meet European standards.
