Implementation Project “Road Maintenance and Safety”, Contract C

Contract C includes the following road axes:

1. Elbasan-Kapshtice 156.01 km
2. Tirane-Elbasan 36.84 km
3. Durres-Fier 44 km
4. Elbasan-Rrogozhine 44.49 km
5. Qafe Thane-Dogane 3km
6. Elbasan-Cerrik-Gramsh 41.20 km
7. Pogradec-Tushemisht 5.9 km
8. Lushnje-Berat-Corovode 87.98 km

The contract includes these main categories of works:

1. Rehabilitation works for other than pavement elements (Rehabilitation works for all road works other than layers) which includes the following works:

1. Construction and reconstruction of drainage systems, culverts, channels, ditches
2. Landslide stabilization
3. Bridge repair
4. Retaining walls and their reconstruction
5. Road signage project, simple and large intersections
6. Urban areas project

2. Rehabilitation works for pavement

Based on traffic data, FWD measurements, and layer depth tests, it is possible to calculate road layers.
